| ANIMINE LOTION | |

COMPOSITION: Each 1ML contains Benzalkonium Chloride 2.5mg (0.25%), Lignocaine Hydrochloride 30mg (3.0% W/V), Calamine 200mg. ACTIONS: Benzalkonium Chloride is an antiseptic (a quaternary ammonium compound). It has variable anti-fungal activity and is effective against some viruses. Lignocaine hydrochloride is a local anaesthetic and has a fast onset and an intermediate duration of action. Calamine is a basic zinc carbonate coloured with ferric oxide. It is a pink or reddish brown colour. It has a mild astringent and anti-pruritic (anti-itch) action. Provides relief of stings, bites and itchy rashes, sunburn, heat rash and minor burns. Helps in the relief of allergic outbreaks such as hives, urticaria, and contact dermatitis. ADMINISTRATION: Apply gently with rubbing over affected area 3 or 4 times a day and at bedtime. Animine cream should not be used on open cuts or wounds or by persons sensitive to benzocaine. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice. COMPOSITION: Each 1g contains zinc oxide 50mg, dichlorobenzyl alcohol 5mg. ACTIONS: Zinc oxide is mildly astringent and is used as a soothing and protective application in many skin conditions. Dichlorobenzyl alcohol is an antiseptic. ADMINISTRATION: Apply 3 - 4 times daily. PACK: Dark pink cream in flat plastic jar in 30g or 500g. STORAGE: Store below 25°C POISON SCHEDULE: Nil.

| McGLOIN'S CHILBLAIN OINTMENT | |

COMPOSITION: 1g contains Camphor 68mg, Benzocaine 20mg, balsam-peru 20mg, phenol 9mg in lanolin/paraffin base. ADMINISTRATION: Apply 2 or 3 times a day as required. At bedtime bathe the chilblain in hot water; dry thoroughly and apply Ayrtons chilblain ointment. If protection is needed, cover with a lint or bandage. CAUTION: Not to be used on infants under 12 months old. If skin irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice. STORAGE: Store below 25°C POISON SCHEDULE: Nil.

COMPOSITION: ACTION: Used for the treatment of pressure imbalance in the middle ear. Designed to alleviate many of the symptoms associated with negative middle ear pressure caused by Eustachian tube dysfunction. ADMINISTRATION: Connect one of the special balloons to the otovent nose piece. Hold the noise piece firmly against the right nostril whilst holding the left nostril closed with left index finger. The mouth must be closed. Place chin against right shoulder and inflate balloon until it is the size of a grapefruit. Now release air from the balloon through nose at the same time swallowing. Keep mouth closed and the nose piece firmly pressed against nostril. Repeat procedure via the left nostril with chin against left shoulder. Otovent should be used 2 - 3 times daily for a period of 2 - 3 weeks. PACK: Refills (5 balloons) or Complete kit.
